The BHA Hydro Network is firmly established as the one-day UK conference and technical exhibition dedicated solely to the unique and diverse world of hydropower.
The event incorporates a comprehensive, diverse and stimulating programme of speakers and subjects, combined with an exhibition showcasing innovation and expertise.
With significant changes to support mechanisms for hydropower after 2019, the BHA Hydro Network will cover many of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. A broad industry cross-section will be involved in the 2018 forum, bringing together industry professionals, experts and some of hydropower’s leading practitioners.
Subjects we want to cover will include:
• Hydro development in a post-FiTs world

• Optimising existing sites
• Permitted development rights – removing barriers to development
• Construction best practice and ‘low risk’ development • Smart generation – matching generation to local loads • Battery and other options for energy storage • Driving collaboration

Abstracts of up to 250 words are now invited.
