Community Energy Conference 2020

13/06/2020

The annual Community Energy Conference is scheduled to take place at Sheffield Hallam University on Saturday 13 June 2020, but due to COVID19, is likely to take place online now. More details about this will be shared very soon.

We have been asking our members what topics they want to know more about and we are busy creating a conference which will be an accessible, user-led, interactive, full day of workshops and networking for experienced practitioners and people new to the idea of community led solutions to climate change. Save the date and book your free place to attend a master class in community resilience.

When you book your place, you will be asked what workshops you will be interested in. More information on the agenda will be listed here soon.

Thanks to our sponsors, Co-op Community Energy, Electricity North West, Northern Powergrid and Sheffield Hallam University, the event is free to attend and a delicious fully vegan lunch will be provided.

The venue is directly across the road from Sheffield Train Station. You may be able to get a cheaper return train tickets from London to Sheffield here.

This venue has:

  • Wheelchair access
  • Hearing loop
  • Prayer room
  • A quiet space

.... but do let us know when booking if you have any other requirements.

We can't wait to see you either in Sheffield or online.
