Councils and Community Energy: Delivering impactful climate action

Over 300 local authorities have now committed to act on the climate emergency and are setting out plans to reduce emissions in local climate action plans. As part of these plans, councils are actively exploring routes to work with local community groups and community businesses to support local emission reduction action.

This event on 15 March (09:15 - 10:30am), hosted by Community Energy England, Community Energy South and Community Energy London, will be led by council officers presenting a series of case studies on projects they have supported which have been delivered by their local community energy sector.

Focussed at local authority councillors and officers looking to build stronger partnerships with the community energy sector to deliver local climate action and to build more resilient communities.
