Future Models for Community Energy (18 October)

18/10/2019to 19/10/2019 13:30 – 17:00

Community Energy England and Power to Change are hosting a half-day conference for community energy practitioners, ahead of the Community Energy Awards ceremony in the evening.

Supported by the Energy Networks Association and Community Energy London, this will be an ‘Open Space’ event which provides a great opportunity for practitioners to:

  • Learn about the latest innovative models for Community Energy, including the Next Generation projects supported by Power to Change
  • Exchange ideas on how to deal with your current Community Energy challenges.

Spaces are limited so please sign up now for this free event, indicating which topics you would most like to discuss. Open Space choices so far suggest that priority topics for discussion are likely to include:

  • Future models for community energy
    • Renewable Energy – solar and beyond
    • Local energy aggregation – flexibility
    • Energy savings services – retrofit
    • District Heat Networks
    • Low-carbon mobility – transport
  • Challenges for community energy groups
    • engaging the wider community
    • grid connections and planning

Your selection of topics will help us to shape an event that meets your needs.

This event is currently at capacity. See more information here. If you would like to attend, please email j.hall@communityenergyengland.org to join the waitlist.
