Since each house is different, they will talk about the importance of having a whole house plan before installing individual measures to minimise risks of problems in the future. They will suggest some questions to ask accredited contractors linked to the scheme to check that they are aware of the key issues and can be trusted to do a good job. They will also introduce you to the Warmer Homes Project of York Community Energy and how we can assist homeowners on their journey to a comfortable, well-insulated home that doesn’t cost the Earth in either money or carbon.
The event will also have Andy Walker of SURE Insulation, who specialises in whole house energy reviews, joining them to provide technical expertise. They will also invite local contractors along to introduce themselves to potential customers.
