SE24 was established in 2015 and has grown significantly since then. But with the massive growth in community energy activity, combined with new central and local government funding support, there are potentially many more opportunities available.
SE24 have decided to re-invigorate their Executive team and structure to meet the three challenges of:
- Growth: more projects and bigger projects
- Managing and delivering those projects better
- Improving our Community Engagement.
As part of this reorganisation SE24 are recruiting a non-executive Chair to help lead their team through this process of exciting growth and change.
The non-exec Chair will have overall responsibility for delivery of SE24’s objectives. The Chair will also be responsible for ensuring that the CEO and Executive Team perform their executive functions adequately. The Chair will be supported by a non-executive Vice Chair and a non-executive External Policy Director.
SE24's current expectation is that the role will require 2 days per month, but there will be times when more time may be required for example during finance raising.
