REScoop.eu is the European federation of groups and cooperatives of citizens for renewable energy. It is a growing network of 1,500 European REScoops and their 1,000,000 citizens.
Through REScoop.eu, Energy4All wishes to make the voices of the UK community energy initiatives heard in the European energy debate. Citizens, after all, are the ones who will be paying for the transition to a more sustainable energy system. REScoop.eu empowers them and wants to achieve energy democracy. REScoop.eu strongly believes that renewable energy cooperatives are ideal partners to lead this energy transition to energy democracy.
Mark Luntley, Director of Energy4All already regularly attended the REScoop meetings throughout Europe. He says “It is an honour to be part of the REScoop board. I’ve been hugely impressed by the energy, professionalism and shared values of REScoop colleagues across different countries.”
