Digital Communications Support

As a Digital Communications Support you will use your creative skills to engage Plymouth Energy Community's  (PEC) audiences and play a crucial role increasing public engagement in their fuel poverty, energy efficiency, and community initiatives. 

Working within their Communications team, you’ll support digital communications needs across the PEC family, including their Energy Advice, Renewables and Retrofit teams.

You’ll be skilled at and relish the challenge of bringing sometimes technical and complex subject matters to life through creative storytelling.

Senior Development Manager

This role is critical in supporting Empowered Projects clients in the delivery of community scale (1MW 20MW) renewable technology assets including ground mount solar, to wind turbine, to hydro projects. you will need to have experience in the development of similar scale renewable energy projects, but not necessarily experience in all. 

Their clients are based across the Southwest of England and Wales and frequent travel will be essential.  

Empowered Projects work with a mix of Commercial and Community organisations to support the UKs transition to Net Zero and this role will focus on community energy projects.

Renewable Energy Consultant

Sharenergy is one of the UK’s leading community energy organisations. They are looking for somebody exceptional to work in their Development Team.

The team currently has 5 members, working closely with volunteer-led groups, energy experts, commercial and community entities to deliver new projects. Sharenergy work as consultants on individual projects and as incubators of whole new approaches, from the ground-breaking Big Solar Co-op to the Community Heat Development unit.

Retrofit Coordinator

Selce and Repowering London are partnering to deliver an innovative approach to domestic retrofit that will insulate homes, alleviate fuel poverty and play a leading role in responding to the climate emergency. They will implement a community-led approach to address one of the great engineering challenges of our time – improving the energy efficiency of the UK’s housing stock. Solving this challenge will address fuel poverty and climate change.
