The Community Energy Project Officer will be a role in the Energy and Low Carbon team, leading on work to help inspire and support communities with their own energy projects from start up through to managing a portfolio of renewable energy, energy efficiency and retrofit projects. The role will take a lead on delivering the nationally recognised Pathways programme in Essex, building on its success to support and extending the growing network of existing community energy groups in the Essex. The role will also work closely with communities and Parish councils to explore and develop plans for community energy through community led energy planning.
