Volunteer Trainee Energy Advisor Opportunities

SELCE NA

If you have empathetic way with people, are good with numbers, can commit to one day a week they are  looking for you. As part of this role, you will be enrolled for a National Energy Action (NEA) level 3 qualification. Many of their staff start out as volunteers and this is a good opportunity for someone looking to start working in the energy advice sector or for someone who would like to help out households in their local community.

“A strong part of volunteering at Selce is the opportunity to improve skills in whatever area of interest is expressed, like engineering or renewables. There is willingness on the part of the management to provide training and put you forward for relevant and worthwhile opportunities, and you get a free lunch too!”

“You get to work on live projects and there’s a really friendly and welcoming environment.” (Lawrence, now employed as renewables project officer).
