Loomio hosts Community Energy England’s national online member forums, which are exclusively for our members. One forum is for all CEE members and we also have a separate forum which is reserved for our community energy practitioners and community organisations only.
Our online member forums are the central hub for the sector’s collective wisdom. The forums provide immediate access to a wealth of up-to-date information and sector knowledge you won’t find anywhere else. By connecting you directly with peers, the forums allow you to share expertise, solve challenges, and tap into the wealth of hands-on experience our membership network has within the sector.

All-member forum
Our all-member forum was created to enable a space for open interaction between community members and the range of stakeholders and service providers within the sector who have shown their support for community energy by becoming members of CEE.
This forum allows members to benefit from the expertise and services offered by these organisations. The all-member forum also provides an opportunity for non-community members to engage with community energy organisations, thereby benefiting all members of our community. We hope that it is also a space which enables new collaborations and services to be created, helping the sector to grow.
practitioner forum
Practitioner forum
Our community practitioner forum allows our community practitioners and organisations to tap into a national network of community groups with decades of expertise and skills. This forum is only open to members of Community Energy England who work or volunteer for our community energy member organisations. This is to provide a confidential space where practitioners can talk openly about their experiences and problems.
By joining the forum you are able to:
- move beyond emails and connect directly with a range of people in the sector
- ask questions, work through issues and challenges
- offer assistance, share experience and talk openly
- feel part of our nationwide community
- share documents, videos and other resources
How to join
Requesting to join Community Energy England’s forums
Our forums are only open to our members.
If you are a Member of Community Energy England and would like to join one of the CEE forums, you can request to join below.
One of the CEE team will check your request and add you to the forums relevant for your organisation.
