Following consultation with its members, London Councils’ Community Energy Working Group (CEWG) commissioned guidance to support council officers who were working to develop community energy programmes. The Community Energy Toolkit: Establishing and Supporting Community Energy was prepared by REGEN and Repowering London, is published online as an interactive document, and considers issues such as:

• Understanding community energy in your borough
• Providing support to establish new organisations
• Providing support for project development

CEL is organising a one hour webinar to introduce the Toolkit’s and provide a run through of the support and guidance contained with it.
