Community energy and local authority match-making (Seeing is Believing project: for the North East and Yorkshire)

Date
Time
12:00-13:00
Location
Zoom

This interactive session is part of Seeing is Believing, a programme funded and delivered by the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub, in partnership with CEE, Ashden and CSE.

Overview of event:

We’re really pleased to see the Local Power Plan commit to funding joint projects between community energy organisations and local authorities. It’s more important than ever to make connections between community energy and local authorities to help capitalise on this opportunity.

This event will:

  • Share best practice: We’ll hear from those in the North East and Yorkshire (and further afield) who have built successful partnerships between community energy and local authorities.
  • Connect you with others: During the event, we’ll facilitate direct introductions between attendees (to connect local authorities, community energy organisations and other stakeholders in the region). We’ll help you build connections with other similar organisations and identify next steps to continue collaborations.
  • Offer time for group discussions: The event will be very interactive with plenty of time for discussion and networking between attendees.

Whether you are working in a local authority, a community energy organisation, or you’re another relevant stakeholder, we’d love to see you there!
