If you are travelling to Birmingham for CEE’s summer conference you might want to consider joining Community Energy Birmingham for a site visit and informal meet up on the 17 June (the day before the conference).

At 4pm on 17 June, CEB are hosting a short site visit to one of their solar PV installations at Ackers Adventure. It’s a chance to see one of their legacy systems in action, hear a little about their plans for future projects, and exchange ideas with fellow members. Ackers is an outdoor adventure space south of the city centre which has a small tower were you can, weather permitting, enjoy a full view of their installation and onto the city.

From 6pm, they’ll continue the conversation in the city centre with an informal meet‑up at The Wellington in the city centre. Nothing formal, just a relaxed space to connect, share experiences, and get to know each other before the main event begins.

As a community energy group, Community Energy Birmingham are keen to build stronger links with fellow members and learn from the brilliant work happening across the country.
