Seeking specialised support and advice to kickstart your energy project in Cheshire or Warrington?
Welcome to the Cheshire & Warrington Community Energy Masterclass Programme, an exciting series of 5 workshops designed to upskill community energy groups and those starting their energy journey in key areas, such as energy project development and management, community governance, energy system design, and business planning.
Ultimately, this programme is designed to help you and your organisation navigate the complexities of energy development, and to secure the support and funding required to make your energy ideas a reality.
Masterclass 2 covers Introduction to the Feasibility Process. We will look at:
· What does a feasibility study entail at different stages of a community energy project?
· What are the main technical, financial, and legal considerations for a community energy project during the feasibility stage?
· How can you best leverage different procurement processes to build your community energy project?
· What does healthy engagement with the community and key stakeholders look like during the feasibility stage?
Masterclass sessions are hosted by community energy experts Scene, on behalf of Enterprise Cheshire & Warrington (working on behalf of Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West & Chester Council and Warrington Council), in coordination with the North West Net Zero Hub.
These sessions are tailored to provide expert support to both new, and established community energy groups and are open to anyone interested in energy or actively developing their own energy projects for the benefit of their communities across Cheshire and Warrington.
