Overview

Join us to learn how strong governance, clear board roles, and solid legal foundations can help your community energy group thrive.

We will be hearing from Saskya Huggins, community energy practitioner and founder of Make It Count. After a decade at Low Carbon Hub, she now works independently to help communities overcome common barriers and develop fair, locally owned energy solutions that support the transition to net zero.

Further details about the session:

Are you part of a community energy group thinking about legal form, board roles, decision-making, funding, partnerships or how to involve your wider community?

This session will introduce governance as a practical foundation for community energy groups that want to be well-run, trusted and ready to work with others.
