Retrofit to improve lives: join our online spotlight session to hear insights, evaluation and policy recommendations from National Energy Action’s Community Retrofit Hubs

National Energy Action (NEA) is pleased to invite you to a one-hour webinar on Monday 23 November from 11.00am-12.00pm, where we will be spotlighting our Community Retrofit Hubs, drawing on the experiences of our frontline team, and the research and insights we have gathered to date.

Our Community Retrofit Hubs in Burnley, Oldham and Sheffield were established to build awareness of retrofit and the benefits it can bring as well as making retrofit activity more tangible and accessible. This place-based approach has enabled us to directly support vulnerable and low income households through the process of retrofit creating warmer, safer and healthier homes.

During the session we will:

• Present headline outcomes from National Energy Action’s Community Retrofit Hubs  
• Share in-depth case studies and the lived experience of our clients to highlight both the challenges and positive impact of accessing funding for retrofit  
• Focus on what successful retrofit support looks like and the stages of an effective retrofit customer journey
• Reflect on future policy needs through the Warm Homes Plan to ensure retrofit is inclusive for those that are most vulnerable.
