Final Seeing is Believing networking event bringing together Local Authorities and Community Organisations focused on the Local Power Plan

Community Energy ‘Seeing is Believing North East and Yorkshire’ is a programme funded by the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub and delivered by Community Energy England, Ashden and Centre for Sustainable Energy. It is designed to share inspiring stories from people already doing great things in community energy through site visits, networking events and matchmaking, in order to support new connections and projects.

This is our final networking event of the project. We will showcase community energy projects in the region and will bring together local authorities, community energy enterprises and anyone interested in supporting the growth of community energy in the region. It will be a unique opportunity to hear from specialists and community energy practitioners, to share opportunities and challenges, and to make new connections.

The day will be a mix of presentations, showcasing the site visits from the project and learnings. Breakout discussions and themed workshops with a focus on the recently published Local Power Plan.
