About the event:

Inspiration and information about how batteries can help your community energy project

Batteries can do much more than store renewable energy. By providing flexibility services and unlocking multiple revenue streams, batteries can strengthen the financial viability of community energy projects and play a key role in Smart Local Energy Systems.

Join practitioners from Energise Sussex Coast, Energy4All and Envol Energy to learn how battery projects are being delivered today, how revenue stacking works, and the business models that can make batteries—and other parts of your project—pay for themselves.

With the government’s current Call for Evidence on community batteries now open, this session will also equip and inspire you to share your views, whether you’re developing a battery project now or planning for the future.

Come away with practical insights, real-world examples, and ideas you can apply to your own projects.

Register for FREE.

This event is part of the Energy Learning Network:

  • The Energy Learning Network is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
  • The network is a partnership between climate solutions charity Ashden, the Centre for Sustainable Energy, and leading community energy bodies in every UK nation: Community Energy England, Community Energy Scotland, Community Energy Wales and Northern Ireland’s Action Renewables. The partnership is working with collaborators from across the community energy sector and beyond.
  • The Energy Learning Network is powering forward community energy projects across the UK. It brings together collaborators across the UK to strengthen the community energy sector. We support people and organisations to take action on energy in their communities, while working with councils, stakeholders and other enablers to create the conditions for community energy to grow and thrive.
