  • Community Engagement Officer (Climate & Retrofit)

    Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per year

South East London Community Energy (Selce) is an award-winning energy member-led cooperative. We believe in creating a fair and just energy transition by building distributed and renewable energy systems, reducing local energy demand, and leaving no one behind in the process. We recognise that effective engagement is a key component in delivering a sustainable future and enabling domestic retrofit at scale.

    As Community Engagement Officer, you will work to support various programmes that are, in the main focused on enabling decarbonisation of the UK housing stock, enabling warm, healthy homes.

    Net Zero Strategic Fundraising Manager

    Church of England

    Location: North Shields

    Salary: £38,230

    The Church of England has developed a national Net Zero Carbon programme to fulfil its commitment to reach net zero by 2030. It aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from energy used in its buildings, schools and work-related transport by 2030. 

    There is a National Net Zero Carbon fundraising team, who lead on the strategy to coordinate and support plans being developed by dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments to secure some funds and distribute grants to leverage further fundraising. 

    They are seeking an experienced fundraiser to work alongside the NE cluster and lead a strategic approach to NZC fundraising across the whole area, by accessing statutory bodies, grant-making trusts and other sources willing to finance net zero and other environmental improvement activities.

    Interviews: To be held online 3rd or 4th December.

    Regional Net Zero Carbon Fundraising Officer

    Church of England Suffolk

    Location: Suffolk

    Salary: 35,000-38,000

    Deadline: 18 November 2025

    The Church of England’s Net Zero Carbon (NZC) programme has been established to help the Church deliver its commitment to reaching its NZC goals. It aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from the energy used in its buildings, schools and through work-related transport.

    All parts of the Church will need to raise funds to implement this Net Zero plan. To this end, the Dioceses of Chelmsford, Ely, Norwich, St Albans and St Edmundsbury and Ipswich are collaborating on the shared ambition to achieve NZC across our diocesan estates and are looking to appoint a Fundraising Officer to work across the region to identify funding opportunities and secure funding towards delivering net carbon zero projects.

    This is a new role and, as such, offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to make their mark.

  • Community Energy Manager

    Pure Leapfrog

    Location: London

    Salary: £37,000 - £42,500 depending on experience

    Deadline: 28 November 2025

    The Community Energy Manager will play a key role in helping communities and partners design, develop and deliver viable, legally robust, and financially sustainable energy projects. You will lead and support project development from concept through to investment readiness, providing expertise across energy and financial modelling, governance, fundraising and stakeholder engagement
