Our Community Enterprise (OCE) is an employee-owned social enterprise launched in October 2011. We provide fundraising support and a range of project, partnership development and advice services for organisations to help them make a positive difference for individuals and communities. We have raised over £30 million for projects across the UK since our launch, improving the lives of thousands of people.
OCE is expert in Community Shares; Director Michael Beaven is a Licenced Community Shares Practitioner and has helped raise over £4 million through community share offers. All the share offers that OCE has supported have been Standard Marked; the Community Shares Standard Mark is awarded to community share offers that meet national standards of good practice.
OCE’s support is firmly grounded in the realities of operating community organisations, as all of the team have relevant experience in volunteering with and running them. Alongside direct involvement in community energy organisations, OCE has supported numerous others with mentoring and consultancy support; we help good people do great things.
