State of the Sector 2026 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
Promoter: Community Energy England (CEE), in collaboration with Community Energy Scotland (CES) and Community Energy Wales (CEW).
1. Eligibility: The prize draw is open to community energy organisations operating within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).
2. Entry Criteria: To enter the draw, eligible organisations must submit their State of the Sector survey data by the closing date of the 2026 survey, as stated on the State of the Sector portal for their respective region. Organisations are encouraged to submit data to the extent that it is relevant and available for their community activities.
3. Limitations: Only one entry per community energy organisation is permitted. Duplicate entries will not be eligible.
4. The Prize: There are 3 prizes of £500 available. Total prize fund in 2026 is £1,500. Prizes are non-transferable and will be paid via BACS to the winning organisation’s official bank account.
5. Winner Selection: Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries using a digital random generator. The draw will take place within [14] days of the closing date.
6. Notification: Winning organisations will be contacted via email. If a winner does not respond within [28] days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize from eligible entries.
7. Data & Privacy: The data collected is organisational data regarding community energy capabilities and delivery. By entering, you agree that this data may be used in line with the State of the Sector data policy. No personal data will be published.
8. General: The Promoter’s decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw if circumstances beyond their control make this necessary. Winners will be published on the websites of CEE, CES and CEW.
