Governance & annual reports
Community Energy Association (England) Limited is a company limited by guarantee (9042561) trading as Community Energy England.
Our organisation is governed by its Articles of Association and Bye Laws. We operate on a purely not-for-profit basis with all of our income used to fund activities that empower the community energy sector. Our efforts are delivered by a dedicated team and overseen by a board of directors made up of representatives from our membership.
Community Energy England is a membership organisation and we are committed to transparency in our operations and democracy in our governance. Our annual general meeting gives members an opportunity to understand our accounts, vote on governance matters, propose resolutions and stand as directors. Throughout the year, members are also able to contact us directly or use our member feedback form to report live issues, suggest ideas and tell us about their support needs.
