Community Energy Fortnight

Spotlighting the sector

Community Energy Fortnight is an annual, nationwide campaign reaching thousands of people and involving hundreds of organisations and it is a great opportunity to make your organisation’s activities visible within the local community and show the rest of the sector, and important stakeholders, what community energy is all about.

Our most recent campaign

2025’s campaign focus was on unlocking investment to help communities take control of their energy future.

Community Energy Fortnight 2025 – sponsored by Ethex, Thrive Renewables, SP Energy Networks and Triodos Bank – was an extraordinary two weeks, filled with insightful events, informative webinars, engaging social media and exciting news and announcements.

You can browse the hashtags #InvestInCommunityEnergy  and #CEF2025 to look back through BlueSky and LinkedIn activity from Fortnight 2025.

CEE hosted two events – our summer conference, in collaboration with NGED – and an online event in collaboration with Younity and the Energy Learning Network, showcasing the newly upgraded Community Energy Connect Platform. Resources from these events are available to download

Our fantastic members and friends held 40+ events during the Fortnight, including several site tours and networking events. We are grateful to all organisations whose events added to the success of the Fortnight both online and in person.

Links to recordings of online events sent to us by members and friends are available below.
