DfE webinar on pilot school PPA project taking place on Tuesday 18 August

The Department for Education has published a market engagement notice on its proposed standardised PPA contract for a pilot project affecting up to 150 schools in Yorkshire and the Humber, the East Midlands and the South East. The Department is holding a webinar on 18 August, 1pm-2pm, which you can register for by emailing them directly at [email protected]. Please include attendee names, contact emails and your organisation’s name in the email if you would like to sign up.

They plan to set out their proposed terms of the standardised contract template and answer any preliminary questions during the webinar, and will send out the contract template itself alongside a questionnaire shortly afterwards.

Please note that what is being discussed is a pilot project involving up to 150 schools in Yorkshire and Humber, the East Midlands and the South East. CEE is working to try to ensure that future approaches are designed with community energy in mind from an earlier stage.
