  • Highlights its wide-ranging social, environmental, and economic benefit
  • Shows how it can shape a decentralised, democratic, low-carbon energy system

Creating the 2030 Vision

We developed the 2030 Vision through three consultation stages (an event at our summer conference, a roundtable of key practitioners, a survey with 48 respondents), plus informal input from practitioners and stakeholders.

Their insights shaped an accessible, visually engaging document for a broad audience (from MPs and community groups to network operators and investors) to understand community energy and its role in a fair, low-carbon future.

Thanks to our funders Power to Change and Friends Provident Foundation for funding,  Jolt Studio for design, Helen Horton for copywriting,  and .

The 2030 Vision is freely available-download the full document, individual pages, graphics, or a summary slide. Use and share these resources widely, crediting CEE when you do.
