About this event

Join Northern Powergrid, Community Energy England and Regen for this regional community energy conference. This event is for community energy organisations, climate action groups, local authorities and any people or organisations across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire who want to help their local area to decarbonise energy and achieve net zero.

Northern Powergrid has held popular in-person community energy forums for the past 3 years. This year, Community Energy England is excited to be partnering with Northern Powergrid and Regen on these events.

It will take place in York on Wednesday 3 July 2024 at 10:30 AM. The venue is St Saviourgate, York (CMC, St Saviourgate, York YO1 8NQ). Please note: St Saviourgate is both the name of the venue and the road on which it is located.

Throughout the day, there will be various engaging sessions taking place, covering a range of capacity building topics relevant to our sector. Expect interactive workshops focused on strengthening community energy groups and networking opportunities that will help you build valuable connections.

This year, we also have 'surgeries' for the Northern Powergrid Net Zero Community Energy Fund. These will take place from 14:40 onwards and will be a great opportunity for you to ask Regen any specific questions you have about the fund.
