The North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub have launced packages of free support for community groups developing local energy projects.
The programme consists of a series of five training workshops – each covering a specific theme surrounding community energy – and a series of bespoke surgery sessions offering one-on-one specialist support aimed at addressing project-specific queries or issues.
Delivered by community energy specialists Scene, the online workshops – which take place between 10th September and 7 Ocgtober – are aimed at upskilling local groups and will focus on the following topics:
The workshops are open to any community organisation considering, developing or delivering a local renewable energy project which benefits their local areas, and attendees can sign up to as many sessions as they wish.
