21/06/2023 12-1pm
Online (zoom)

The webinar opens with Kate Meakin from Energise Sussex Coast talking about their Energy Champions Course which enables community energy efficiency volunteers to feel confident in giving basic energy efficiency advice and support to people in their communities by becoming Energy Champions.

The NEA is currently training hundreds of charity, local council and community energy people in its City and Guilds Level 3 Energy Awareness qualification, and has partnered with Community Energy England to train a CEE Trainer so that Community Energy England can offer this course at a discounted rate to CEE Members. Find out more about this qualification which will take your energy advice service to the next level, unlocking funding and local authority partnerships in the process.

Alex Hartley of Energias is an experienced energy and fuel poverty advice trainer who has developed an enhancement course for those qualified as NEA Level 3 Energy Advisors to add soft skills and give Advisors confidence to cope with more difficult conversations or vulnerable clients, as well as prepare them for “the real world experience” of energy efficiency advice.

Post your questions in the Chat during the presentations for the Q&A in the last part of this invaluable event for community energy groups working to make their communities more energy efficient and decarbonised at home.
