Two of Europe’s leading online impact investing platforms Lendahand and Ethex with support from UK aid and Virgin Unite have launched Energise Africa – putting life changing solar home systems within the financial reach of rural families. 130 million homes in rural Africa do not have access to mains electricity.  Investments made through the new initiative Energise Africa fund pioneering businesses that install life-changing solar systems there.

Investors are offered up to 6% annual returns, as well as tax free returns by holding investments within an Innovative Finance ISA.
