Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is responsible for delivering power to over 3.9 million homes and businesses across central southern England and the north of Scotland. We serve some of the most diverse and unique geographies across the UK, and keep customers and communities connected whilst developing the flexible electricity network vital to achieving net zero. We believe that our network will become a key enabler of the energy transition, whilst continuing to provide a vital service to our communities and beyond.
SSEN works closely with industry partners and not-for-profit organisations across its operating regions to support community organisations to understand the connection process, any possible constraints, and what should be considered before applying for a new connection.
