Date: 29 June 2017
Venue: Whitehouse Hotel, Telford, Shropshire
The BHA Hydro Network is the only one-day hydropower networking and exhibition event dedicated to the unique and diverse UK hydropower sector. It incorporates a comprehensive, diverse and stimulating programme of speakers, networking opportunities and exhibition that will showcase the latest in hydropower innovation and expertise. For the very first time, the BHA is partnering with three like-minded organisations – Community Energy England, Community Energy Wales and the Micro Hydro Association.
The BHA welcomes all contributions from members of these organisations and encourages those involved in community hydro to get involved, exhibit and suggest subjects that could be covered at this event.
New business models, selling your power, the possible effects of Brexit, innovation, cost reduction, breathing life into ‘stalled’ projects, maximising revenues, approaches to making community hydro work, storage and grid balancing are all subjects that we want to feature high on the agenda. We also want successful case studies/lessons learned; behavioural change; adding value not costs and diversification. We would also like to hear about ideas for entire sessions (in the form of topics and speakers) and thoughts on panel discussions.
During the day industry suppliers, experts and thought-leaders from the hydropower sector will be networking, looking to increase sales opportunities and expanding business networks in a fast-changing marketplace. A very broad cross-section from the industry will be involved in bringing together industry professionals, experts and some of hydropower’s leading practitioners to provide an insight into many of today’s opportunities and challenges.
Registrations now closed.
