Community Energy Fortnight Resources

We have produced a range of resources to help you get involved with Community Energy Fortnight - these are you now available to download from this page.

Events

We are encouraging you to organise practical and useful events, in order to share and draw on skills and knowledge. You can download our How to...Organise a SkillShare Event guide to help you get started.

There's already a wide range of events and activities taking place during the Fortnight and we hope that more organisations will confirm their activity in the coming weeks. Please tell us about any ways you plan to get involved and get connected with Community Energy Fortnight. We look forward to hearing about what activities you have planned and how you will be skill sharing in your local communities.

Submit your event

Please submit your events and we will make sure your events are visible for everyone to see! Your events will be featured on the CEF web page, as well as in our weekly newsletter to stakeholders, and, for the first time, we are using our roaming layer on the national map to show the locations of all events taking place this Community Energy Fortnight.

If you're intrigued to find out what events are already running, the CEF 2023 activity calendar is now live!

Social Media

The theme for Community Energy Fortnight is focused around skill sharing and we hope you will use the hashtags #CEF2023 and #CommunityEnergyNow to connect with other community energy enthusiasts via social media.

Please hold plenty of channel space to share skills and learning on Twitter and other social media channels throughout the fortnight. You can download our How to... Do Social Media guide for more inspiration.

Twitter Takeovers

We are running a series of Twitter Takeovers on Community Energy England's Twitter account during Community Energy Fortnight 2023. We are only offering this opportunity to our community energy members. If you are interested please download the How to... Host a Twitter Takeover guide and email Kim Woodcock to reserve your spot!

Create a Video

We are asking community energy organisations to make a short video to share a skill. Find out more by downloading our How to... Create a Video guide. Don't forget to let us know if you are planning to create a video, so we can help to promote it during the fortnight.

Blogs

We love reading and sharing the sector's wide-ranging thoughts and opinions on the energy transition, social benefits, renewable technologies, policy, and much more, and we're grateful to the people and organisations who contribute blogs to CEF 2023.

Why not write a blog and we'll post it on our website! Blogs can be anything from 300 to 800 words. If you are interested in this opportunity please email Kim Woodcock
